Dover, OH—Greer Steel, one of the nation’s premier producers of cold rolled strip steel, has named Charles Maul as Vice President of Commercial. Maul will be responsible for business expansion and overall sales efforts, including management of the sales force at Greer Steel’s Dover facility as well as Greer’s service center in Ferndale, Michigan.
Maul, nearly a 30 year veteran of the steel industry, has extensive experience in steel product sales and management including fourteen years at Greer Steel where he has served as Sales Representative, General Manager of Ferndale and, most recently, as Vice President of Sales. Maul’s earlier experience includes 10 years with the Sales Group at Lukens Steel.
“Throughout his career, Charlie has gained an in-depth understanding of the dynamics of the steel market”, said Robert Gwynne, executive vice president. “Charlie’s experience and knowledge mesh perfectly with Greer Steel’s commitment to being the ultimate solution-driven supplier of cold rolled strip steel.”
