No. 1 Dull or Matte = 20 min Ra (Higher Ra available upon request)

# 2 Regular Bright

No. 2 Regular Bright Finish = 20 max Ra

No. 2 Regular = 12-20 max Ra
This finish is ideal for light forming operations. It allows die lube retention, but the finish is still smooth and tight after forming.

#2 Lite Bright

Lite Brite is suitable for plating applications less demanding than those requiring No. 3 or No. 2 Best Brite Finish. This finish requires a minimum of polishing and buffing where a consistent satin surface is required.

#2B Best Bright

No. 2B, or 2 Best Bright Finish, is suitable for nickel, chrome, brass or copper plating applications less demanding than those requiring No. 3 finish. This finish generally requires a minimum of polishing or buffing. (Requirements for No. 2 Best Bright quality in a No. 1 temper or over .100" thickness are subject to inquiry.)

#3B Best Bright

The highest quality finish available and is intended for the most critical surface applications. This finish is produced by selective practices including the use of specially prepared rolls, and is particularly suited for nickel chrome, brass or copper plating. It is generally produced in No. 3 or No. 4 tempers, .050 thickness and thinner.
